My paintings are not straightforward representations of the subject matter, but a visual cast of the deeper emotional, psychological, and physical journey that I have embarked on during my professional career. I have wanted to capture the inner character or the mystical spirit of the locations that I have visited with eyes wide open. I try to represent the puzzle of life rather than the clarification. My diary is one of acrylic and oil, not ink, and it is full of humour, wit, tragedy, and love.
